So it’s been awhile since I’ve done a 5K training session and it may stay that way for awhile. During my trip I pulled a muscle in my leg which has been acting up as of late. Thankfully it’s not enough to stop me from lifting and running, but when I do the training sessions I like to push my limits and I don’t want to aggravate anything until I know it’s healed.
Regardless, I’m still doing some light running along with walking and was able to do put in over 6 miles in total across the different walk/run workouts I did. I’ll continue to test my leg in these lighter runs and see how my pace is before putting in another training session.
