5K Training Session #10

So it has actually been a full month since I have done one of these training sessions. Injuries really slowed me down in February but I’m glad I was able to get a session in before the month was over.

I really had to push myself just to keep the same pace that I had last time so I know that there was some regression. That being said, I’m happy that I was able to still keep the same pace.

This was also my first run in a new pair of shoes. I was super excited to get them, but I’ll admit that it’s taken a while to break them in. I’d say I’m still in the process of that now even though I’ve gone on a decent amount of walks and runs over the past couple of weeks .

Overall, I’m feeling great about getting back into things and hope to continue improving my time over the next couple of weeks and months !

Injuries are almost inevitable with keeping fit and sporting. Good to see you're coming round again.

Good Work! My race is coming up so will need to see if I can beat my best time!

Great job with almost 17k steps! Careful, injuries are very detrimental to the progress. It is better to take it nice and slow and build up over longer period of time.
