The daily physical activity that an ordinary person does has a low to moderate intensity. Of course, that doesn't mean it doesn't benefit us.
But the real long-term results can only be achieved through exercise. For example, jogging has much faster and more effective effects on the cardiovascular system than walking at a leisurely pace.
How can you tell if an activity is moderate or high in intensity? For example, if you can talk while running, it is moderate.
If you have to stop and adjust your breathing after just a few words, then the intensity is high.
