Today I went for a walk in Red Rocks Open Space in colorado springs, not to be confused with the famous red rocks amphitheater near denver.
This place is cool and I can't help but wonder wtf causes rocks to form like this. Multiple distinct types of rocks right next to eachother, and the kind on the left side here looks a lot like ancient bricks to me.
There's also busted up concrete and asphalt in random spots. Seems like there was once infrastructure out here and it's been since destroyed.
More big concrete chunks...
More of those ancient brick looking rocks.
You can also see Garden of the Gods from here - it's essentially across a highway from here.
Nice little mountains view.
This is what the downtown looks like from here:
Some of the trail on the way back...
More random bits of destroyed shit - This kinda stuff doesn't just pop up somewhere and there's a lot of it all over this place. Note there are 3 different types of manmade shit here:
And finishing up the hike...
Hope you enjoyed - there's lots of great hiking spots around here...

Maybe at one point, it was a fill area for concrete, asphalt and the like. That might explain why there's so much there. It's a shame as it detracts from the natural beauty of the place.
It is pretty though (ignoring that stuff). Nice job with your 8129 @actifit steps for the day. Take care!
