Tuesday morning, got up and let Hawthorne out. I had some coffee,.ate breakfast, and played with Hawthorne before running something up to the mailbox for the postal carrier to pick up.
After all that, I did some work
After lunch, I drove to the dollar store to buy some coffee. Then I did some more writing.
In the evening, I played with Hawthorne some more, then we went to my parents' house to play cards. When we got home, our fridge wasn't working.
After several checks, my wife couldn't figure out what the issue was. So, I carried the fridge out to our well house and plugged it into shore power to keep it charged.
Living off-grid has its advantages, but there are also challenges. As far as we can tell, our solar system is working as it should and the fridge is too. Since we are leaving in the morning and will be gone all week, we'll perform the necessary troubleshooting when we return home on Saturday.
I ended the day today with more than 5,000 activity points.
