It’s been a while since I posted. Took the week off last week from doing any workouts. I felt like I plateaued for sometime now and haven’t seen any kind of visible progress (well aside from gaining A LOT of weight recently lol). It felt like I lost the muscles I gained instead and it made me sad. But that’s not stopping me. So I am trying to reset by taking more than a week off.
So yesterday I went back to the gym and let me tell you that that 1 week off reset worked for me. Well no instant visible results but in terms of my body’s reaction, I was dead tired. I almost couldn’t keep up and was having a hard time with my usual routine. The weights felt so heavy and my legs were shaking the whole time I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to walk home properly lol. And today I am so sire even with proper warmup and cool down.
But anyway, these were my sets yesterday:
RDL:
6x2 20kgx2
4 20kgx2 (pause)
B-stance RDL (per leg) smith machine:
6x2 10kgx2
5 10kgx2
Hip abduction:
8x2 82kg
6 82kg
Leg press:
8 65kgx2
8 66.25kgx2
7 66.25kgx2
Couldn’t get myself to do a but if cardio after lol
