Cudny, cudny, cudny dzień. Szukając bowiem inspiracji na rodzinną wycieczkę wpadłam na pomysł, aby odwiedzić miejsce, w którym spędzałam wiele letnich wakacji oraz zimowisk jako dziecko z moją rodziną: Jaworze.
A wonderful, wonderful, wonderful day. Because while looking for inspiration for a family trip, I came up with the idea of visiting a place where I spent many summer holidays and winter camps as a child with my family: Jaworze.
Jeździliśmy tam do ośrodka wypoczynkowego należącego do CZH - Centrum Zaopatrzenia Hutnictwa, w którym onegdaj pracowała moja Mama. Ów ośrodek już nie istnieje. Punktem orientacyjnym dla mnie dla rozpoczęcia nostalgicznego spaceru było wzgórze Goruszka z charakterystyczną glorietą. Żeby nie było - najpierw próbowałam wjechać autem tam, gdzie kojarzyłam stary ośrodek, ale przegonił nas stamtąd ochroniarz, jest to obecnie jakiś teren prywatny pilnie strzeżony.
We went there to a recreation center belonging to CZH - the Metallurgy Supply Center, where my Mom used to work. That center no longer exists. My landmark for starting the nostalgic walk was Goruszka Hill with its characteristic gloriette. Just to be clear - first I tried to drive to the place where I remembered the old center, but a security guard chased us away, it is now some private property that is closely guarded.
Poradził on nam jednak gdzie zaparkować, i faktycznie, stanęliśmy pod samym wzgórzem i rozpoczęliśmy wspinaczkę pod górę.
Pamiętam tę trasę! Chodziliśmy tamtędy niezliczoną ilość razy, wracając z centrum. Tym razem było trochę trudniej, bo trzeba było wepchnąć nielekki wózek z Dzidzią i nakłonić do współpracy "weź mnie na rączki" Bombelka.
He did advise us where to park, and indeed, we stopped right at the foot of the hill and started climbing up. I remember that route! We had walked that way countless times, coming back from the city centre. This time it was a bit more difficult, because we had to push the heavy stroller with Baby in it and get to cooperate with us the Bombel saying "take me in your arms".
No ale weszliśmy i nawet mamy rodzinne foto. Pomimo, że nie mam rysika z Bluetooth i musiałam jak zwierzę ustawiać samowyzwalacz :(
Well, we went in and we even got a family photo. Despite the fact that I don't have a Bluetooth stylus and I had to set the self-timer :(
Ze wzgórza rozciąga się piękny widok i jest oczywiście górka saneczkowa. Tak, tak, tak! Jeździłam tędy i ja. I choć widoki mile wspominam, tak samych zjazdów nie koniecznie (nigdy za tym zbytnio nie przepadałam).
There is a beautiful view from the hill and of course a sleigh hill. Yes, yes, yes! I used to go there too. And although I have fond memories of the views, I don't necessarily remember the descents themselves (I've never been particularly keen on that).
Pamiętam też te łąki z lata, kiedy to chodziliśmy tu z naszym psem na wybieganie.
I also remember these meadows from the summer, when we used to go here with our dog for a run.
Szybko obejrzałam stary płot z ośrodka i poszliśmy w kierunku miasteczka.
I quickly looked at the old fence of the center and we headed towards the town.
A tam - znak czasów. Nowy supermarket Jaworze, Lewiatan. Ale wokół już typowa, pamiętana przeze mnie zabudowa tyrolska. Dalej tam się chyba wiele nie zmieniło.
And there - a sign of the times. A new supermarket in Jaworze, Lewiatan. But around it is the typical Tyrolean architecture that I remember. I don't think much has changed there.
Spacer był fajny, ale wyjątkowo mroźny, wróciliśmy więc do auta i podjechaliśmy na obiad. Gdzieżby indziej: do karczmy pod Błatnią! Tam chadzaliśmy na obiad i za dawnych lat. I chętnie też zrobilibyśmy to z mężem na piechotę, ale 30 minut marszu w jedną stronę w tym mrozie mogłoby być jednak przesadą dla dzieci.
The walk was nice, but exceptionally frosty, so we returned to the car and drove up for lunch. Where else: to the inn under Błatnia! We used to go there for lunch in the old days. And we would gladly do it on foot with my husband, but a 30-minute walk in one direction in this frost might be too much for the kids.
Karczma nic się nie zmieniła! Przed nią stoi nawet ta sama huśtawka, na której ja huśtałam się te jakieś raptem 30 lat temu :D
The tavern hasn't changed at all! There's even the same swing in front of it that I used to swing on just 30 years ago :D
W środku czysto i miło. Zabytkowe narty wiszą na suficie, oprócz tego bele i różne fajne ozdoby.
Inside it's clean and nice. Antique skis hang from the ceiling, as well as logs and various cool decorations.
Jedzenie?
Zaskakująco smaczne.
Pamiętałam tę karczmę jako takie przaśne jadło, albo coś się zmieniło, albo moje smaki się pozmieniały. ;)
Food?
Surprisingly tasty.
I remembered this tavern as such unleavened food, either something has changed, or my tastes have changed. ;)
