Wczoraj mieliśmy zaplanowany wyjazd do kina do Brukseli, ale zanim to się stało, musiałem rano po raz trzeci przemalować jedną ze ścian w pokoju córki. Efekt jest już bliski ideału, który chciałem osiągnąć. Najprawdopodobniej tak to zostawię, chyba że najdzie mnie ochota jeszcze raz pomalować tę ścianę.
[ENG] Yesterday we had planned to go to the cinema in Brussels, but before that I had to repaint one of the walls in my daughter's room for the third time this morning. The result is already close to the ideal I had in mind. I will probably leave it that way, unless I get the urge to paint that wall again.
Do Brukseli pojechaliśmy około południa, najpierw do polskiego sklepu po kilka rodzimych smakołyków. Żona zażyczyła sobie orientalny rosołek, dlatego na lunch wjechał japoński ramen, bardzo smaczny i pożywny. Po posiłku mieliśmy jeszcze trochę czasu na krótki spacer w okolicach i po parku du Cinquantenaire.
[ENG] Around midday we drove to Brussels, first to a Polish shop to pick up some local delicacies. My wife wanted an oriental broth, so for lunch we had Japanese ramen, very tasty and nutritious. After lunch we had time for a short walk around the neighbourhood and in the Cinquantenaire Park.
Następnie pojechaliśmy do kina, które mieści się w północnej części Brukseli nieopodal słynnego Atomium. Kiedy wieczorem wychodziliśmy po seansie Atomium prezentowało się w nocnej, oświetlonej odsłonie.
[ENG] Then we went to the cinema, which is located in the northern part of Brussels near the famous Atomium. When we left after the screening in the evening, the Atomium presented itself in a night-lit display.
