Rainy day getting to and in Shoalhaven Heds : June 1 2024

in Actifit10 months ago (edited)

Was a slow start but we were committed to drive down to Shoalhaven Heads. Got the car packed and we were on the road just before noon. Rain started about then. Huge storm around Sutherland with water running 6 inches deep over the road.

Rained a lot all afternoon - went for the short loop walk around the bowling club to get some photos. Photo of the front of our estate - Coastal Palms

Holiday Park across the road. We stayed there a few times when we first investigated moving here. Why do the photos? I bought shares in the business that is Ingenia in the week. INA.AX is the stock code. Why? Get some money back and get to see the accounts. They run the Lifestyle Villages and the Holiday Parks. The game is property and retiree living

Hibiscus flowers seem to be a pattern for the rainy day walks - just up the street

Flags flying at the bowling club - not seen these flying before

Cloud just touching the top of Coolangatta Mountain - no rain

Sunset view to the south maybe a better forecast than the computer models - looks like the weather is breaking better

Had dinner with friends - kind of weird - dinner in someone else’s house. Get to cook my own dinner and they wash the dishes. Not weird but smart

Wow que hermosas fotos, jeje últimamente esta lloviendo demasiado, saludos 🙌

Everywhere still looks good and smooth over there even with the rain unlike here
It’s usually very mushy when the rain falls here

I love all the pictures

Summer is our season for rain. I arrived in Sydney on May 3, 2000 - did not rain until after the Olympics in September. That is the benchmark
