A slow start while my wife headed out to help a friend move furniture. Did some uranium market buying on ASX when US markets showed buying just before their markets closed. Day changed as my wife wanted to visit Ikea to get some furniture design done. She shopped - I walked
Train lover got a chance to see trains - coal train fully loaded waiting to cross the river
Walkway runs along the train line for a while - coal train moved off
Apartments are mostly new since I last cycled down this way. The suburb - Rhodes - has become quite a buzz with offices, shops and apartments flowing down to the riverside
And passenger train service into Sydney and up to the north shore where I live
Just below the station was a new bike locker. Free to use - just use your train card and you get to lock up your bike. No bikes in this and only one stroller. All the bikes were closer to the station in the lock to a pole racks - never mind the you beaut bike locker and scan your ticket
Apartment city lining up on the way down to the river along the railway line
The other side of the line still has a lot of housing commission houses. Just a question of time before they will be bought out. Not hard - make an offer to the state government and guarantee housing for tenants in the new blocks. Shut down two and build 50 and house 2.
The house next door - a little more swish
Yep build one like this - not 50 - 150
Local community centre - they will leave that standing
Looking back up the line to Rhodes and the cranes are busy building more
Getting closer to the river. Will not be long efore the apartments are on both sides of the line. First few apartment blocks are being built there now
Got to the river crossing - have cycled this bike path a few times - knew were I was going. Tough to photograph through the meshed fence
Walked off the track to get to a point to photograph across the Parramatta River to Meadowbank - also become apartment city
Afternoon light lights up the railway bridge
Bridge framing the apartments emerging on the south bank of the river
View down the river from Mill Park to Paramatta - also becoming apartment city
Outdoor gym in Mill Park framing the incoming weather. Looks like a huge storm - was not but colour told a different story.
We had Thai for lunch in the shopping centre. Made a good excursion for me - no shopping and walked a new.slice of the city.
Dinner: Spaghetti bolognese
Trade action: ASX and Canadian uranium stocks. Also adjusted a few sold pit trades to buy time

We visited ikea today to 🤣
Walkway runs are usually interesting
Your pictures are sound and clear
Love them!
Your city has some great buildings and it looks like there are so many skyscrapers here
Nice pictures and I loved how your wife shopped and you walked😁😁
Everywhere we go there are new apartment blocks along the harbour and the railways and the main through roads. Mostly they are limited to 5 floors high but in a few places they are skyscraper high. These ones are not far from Sydney Olympic Village which has many tall buildings - so they have the same planning permissions
