Dendrobium kingianum shaping up - looks like the white version
Rose Cottage has a few roses - this big one in orange
A pink/mauve version - looks so old fashioned
This is the start of cymbidium orchid flowering time - one of the new residents had a few on show
A small variation - deeper colours
The big change of the day was the planting of the For Sale sign next door. My wife danced a jig. These neighbours have been hard work and have changed her whole outlook on living here - so much so that she was looking to sell
My task for the morning - pack up, pick up wine, buy fuel, pick up my wife. Photo across the Shoalhaven River from the winery. Super flat water with no wind and an amazing mix of blues in water and sky
My wife drove home from Kiama. Traffic was easy
Good to be home safely - simple dinner - chicken pasta - photos of my sequence which is different to most recipes
Season the chopped chicken thighs - salt, pepper, Spanish seasoning. Stir fry and set aside
Saute the veges in order - onion, capsicum, garlic, spring onion, bacon
Toss in the mushrooms - often needs a bit more oil. I use olive oil
Then add in the sauce elements - pick what you have - crushed tomato, Worcestershire sauce, chicken stock, soy sauce, ketjap manis, some herbs
Toss in the chicken and some green stuff - pick what you have - spring onion tops this time
Serve with pasta
