Started out with a different Sunday plan - meeting friends for lunch in a Brookvale brewery. Since I lived down that way there are a few open.
A bit of a warehouse feel with old furniture. Lots of beer choices all made here. Food from a food truck out the back. Pool table. Pinball machines. Darts boards. Too bad we had to drive home. Used to live walking distance - would be a haunt.
Not a lot of steps - went walking down to the bush - mini roses on the way

A few in shot. Disappointing to find half the plants I saw last time have fungal droop

Dinner: Pad Thai - prawns - no tofu. I like to saute stuff first - prawns - the recipes do not
Rice vermicelli is soaked for a minute in boiling water. Added some veges - onions, asparagus, garlic and the tossed in the sauce
Mix through - top with fresh herbs (basil and coriander) and chopped peanuts. Was yum
