A different day lining up. We are taking our visitors - my wife's second cousin and his friend to visit the Blue Mountains
First stop - Echo Point to see Three Sisters. Lots of tourists. For me a walk to look for orchids

Walked the cliff walk for a while. It is dry and not really good for orchids - a few other flowers. Goodenia - a bit different ti the ones down the mountain

Was thinking this was a different goodenia but there are enough similarities to say it is the same as the first one

Walked then the other direction past Darley Lookout toward Katoomba Falls - rosella on that track

Did find evidence of orchids past - seeded. No luck finding any on the cliff paths

Last time up here there were some orchids growing in the park opposite the Cascades car park. Here again just finishing

Went into Katoomba for Thai lunch - really nice. Drove out to Narrow Neck after lunch - a good escape from the tourists. Road is gravel and is a dead end - no place for a bus to turn
