Monday mornings are always tough, and today was no exception. Getting out of bed was a challenge, as usual. After hitting the snooze button twice, I finally managed to pull myself up and start the day. I tackled my morning tasks before heading out to work.
The day itself was fairly smooth and not too hectic, probably because the holiday break is just around the corner. Despite the lighter workload, we still had two meetings after the kids were dismissed. It's funny how we seem to feel more exhausted as the summer holidays get closer. The anticipation of the break makes the days feel longer and our energy levels lower. Roll on, days, roll on!
I’m finally back to my usual KpopXfitness dance classes, and it feels amazing. I missed two new dances while I was away, but Aleen took the time to show us the steps slowly during the class. The steps were pretty easy, so I’m sure I’ll catch up quickly, probably by the end of this week.
I love the intense workout and the buckets of sweat that come with it. It’s always satisfying to push myself and see the results. Getting back into these dance classes has been a great way to re-energize, keep my sanity intact and stay fit.
