It's another day to remind myself of the future I picture myself in, and to also remind myself that tomorrow will make no difference if the work is not done today. It has not been easy trying to strive in this current economy, and the only way not to be affected by it is to face it head on.
Remembering where I came from, where I am, and where I desire to be keeps me awake during the late hours of the night, and also gets me up very early in the day. I desire to live a better life, but I know for sure that I will not get what I desire but what I deserve, this is why I strive everyday to deserve a better life by putting in the work, facing the problems people run away from, and standing firmly even when life hits hard.
No one said it was going to be easy, I never expected it to be. But one thing I know for sure is that I can't be unlucky for 365 days in a year. If I keep knocking, someday the door is going to open up. Then people will call me lucky.
This thought repeats itself in my mind every morning as I step out, and this has kept me going.....
