Yesterday being a wednesday was my CDS group meeting for the week. But instead of going around the appointed community and educating people on clean environments and also cleaning up, we were asked to meet at Government College Ibadan, a federal secondary school at Apata. On getting there, and after walking a long distance from the school gate to the meeting point, we had to stand for about an hour and thirty minutes, listening to a staff member lecture us on being vigilant and continuous in our environment.
People were tired of standing, most weren't even listen
We just wanted to mark the attendance and leave
She shared a story of a corps member who got missing for 3 days, but thankfully was found eventually. After that we had to write an attendance list , it appeared that a lot of us were not around due to the fact that some are on break at their PPA and had travelled to their hometown which shouldn't have been so because we've been instructed that we should take permission from the LGI before travelling, if need be.
My colleague and I, cleaning up
My colleague
After the SDC, I had to go to my Place of Primary Assignment. My boss had just finished setting up a ln extension office not far from the present one and he needed his corper staff to help him clean up before resuming there. So my colleague and I went there.

Both activities were energy draining and time consuming. I also had to go to church later in the evening for the mid week service slatch communion service. By the time I got home, all I could do was to prepare something for dinner and go to bed straight up.
My favourite
Time to eat and call it a day
I woke up today refreshed though, thank God for sleep 😃
