Hola a todos, amigos de Hive y comunidad de Actifit, mi nombre es @Cristhenos. Tras un largo año lleno de victorias y fracasos, decidí tomar este día como mi último entrenamiento del año, así que tras una larga rutina de calistenia, aun me encontraba con algo de tiempo y, para aprovecharlo, me propuse llevar una sección fotográfica durante y después del entrenamiento.
Hello everyone, friends of Hive and Actifit community, my name is @Cristhenos. After a long year full of victories and failures, I decided to take this day as my last workout of the year, so after a long calisthenics routine, I still had some time and, to take advantage of it, I decided to take a photo section during and after the workout.
Vestido de short y sin camisa para poder demostrar el estado físico en el que me encuentro actualmente.Mi experiencia durante mi último entrenamiento fue un tanto rehabilitadora; fue uno de esos momentos donde te das cuenta de que cada día de entrenamiento valió la pena. Tras casi 12 meses de entrenamiento arduo, en los cuales tuve bajas de autoestima, estos percances no fueron suficientes para vencer mi disciplina y mis ganas de superarme cada día a pesar de las circunstancias.
My experience during my last training was somewhat rehabilitative; it was one of those moments where you realize that every day of training was worth it. After almost 12 months of arduous training, in which I had low self-esteem, these mishaps were not enough to overcome my discipline and my desire to improve myself every day despite the circumstances.
Durante la sección de fotografía, me percaté de cómo ha evolucionado mi físico, momento que me hizo recordar en el momento en el que empecé en la calistenia, momento en donde ni siquiera podía hacer una sola dominada y que actualmente he superado por mucho a mi yo del pasado. Y que a pesar de que no termine el año con algunas metas que quería alcanzar, siento que avanzo demasiado en esta bonita disciplina, la cual es la calistenia.
During the photography section, I noticed how my physique has evolved, a moment that reminded me of the time when I started calisthenics, when I couldn't even do a single pull-up and now I have far surpassed my past self. And that even though I did not finish the year with some goals I wanted to achieve, I feel that I am making a lot of progress in this beautiful discipline, which is calisthenics.
A pesar de que yo quería terminar este año sin ninguna interrupción en mis entrenamientos, mi cuerpo opina lo contrario, ya que estos últimos meses lo he llevado al límite muchas veces y es algo que me está pasando factura en mi rendimiento físico, pero no está mal tomar algunas veces uno que otro descanso. Recuerden que es importante escuchar nuestro cuerpo y de esta manera ayudamos al cuerpo a recuperarse de una mejor manera y, por ende, poder empezar con más fuerza.
Although I wanted to finish this year without any interruption in my workouts, my body thinks otherwise, since these last months I have pushed it to the limit many times and it is something that is taking its toll on my physical performance, but it is not bad to take sometimes a break or two. Remember that it is important to listen to our body and in this way we help the body to recover in a better way and, therefore, be able to start stronger.
