The Beginning of Physical Recovery at WestCore Training - My Actifit Report Card: January 25 2022

in Actifit3 years ago

Let’s go back to Monday this week and talk about what I have started for myself and what I plan to use Actifit for 👍

Monday Mission

Monday I started with my personal trainer for the next 10 months, WestCore Training utilizing a group environment and discount with benefit of personalized training packages. We started with setting a baseline and the instructor said I “Kicked Ass” with 3 set of 3 exercises and ten reps each. Total on 90reps and I was starting to feel it.

My goal is to recover my leg function and strength.

Although I can’t help but desire to change my former nickname “Tits” into a compliment 😉

Intentions

I’m going forwards I will try do my best in capturing as much footage and pictures as I can for posting on Actifit so I may document this journey I am taking on. Pardon my tardiness but Tuesday my recovery day ended up becoming a cardio day. Monday/Wednesday/Friday are workout days and Tuesday/Thursday/Sat-or-Sunday are for cardio doing extended walks.

Tuesday Torment

It was supposed to be a rest day but did I give myself a break?

I went for a walk with Jerry and starting off in a different direction than normal ended up taking almost twice as long of a path. it was a good challenge and Jerry enjoyed himself but I realize I won’t be able to do that distance on days I have to work out. Took me about two hours and I reached most of my goals on Fitbit but it was nearly the only thing I could do yesterday.

We found an entirely new area to explore which is sort of within walking distance from home. As I recover it will be more so within distance.

Sadly I won’t always be able to go out this late in the day to be able to get pictures. I started the walk after sunrise where usually I head out before. It was an amazing walk yesterday and being daylight probably helped with deciding to go for the extra distance.

Wednesday Whimpers

After yesterday my body is not wanting to function. I tried to work a shift last night and gave up early and headed to bed before 9pm. Starting today with stretching at 5am I feel pretty good mentally but my body is physically tapped. Not so sore just exhausted thus I will only take Jerry for a lazy short loop and try recover a little before my workout session today.

I am recording vlogs on my progress best I can but have not figured how to compose the contents as of yet. When I do I will include. For today I’m mostly going to focus on trying to either get ahold of my workout results or tracking the exercises myself for posting.

That’s it, @d00k13 Out!!!
