Today, I want to share an amazing coast walk from Morro Jable Harbour to our hotel located 8km along some of the most beautiful beaches I've seen.
We took a taxi to the harbour and after spending a while there we set off to walk the 8km or so back along the coast. The temperature was about 21°C max. Feeling very warm in the unbroken sunshine.
After negotiating the rocky outcrop steps and steep inclines, we emerged onto the promenade. Here, it was much easier to walk.
It was amazing how the weather has changed since yesterday. We arrived yesterday under thick cloud and drizzle. Today, clear skies and very warm.
Continuing on, we stopped for some lunch and shopping in Morro Jable and later at a beach bar for more refreshments. A very necessary thing to do in this unexpected heat! 😆

It was a very nice walk but a little tiring after our journey yesterday. We kind of made this up as we went along. Not planning to walk as far as we did, but it was well worth the effort in the end.
