Snow in recent years is quite a rare phenomenon here. The last time we had snow was in 2017. But this year I was lucky enough to see snow for the second time 🙂 I am visiting my mother and I decided to take a walk in the park at the beginning of the village of Dolno Sakhrane, where she lives and which I have shared more than once.
I hurried to reach the center of the village from where the snow-covered Balkan - Stara planina was visible, because it was terribly cold with temperatures below zero 🥶. I was dressed in my thickest hiking clothes and I was bitterly cold. Or we still can't get used to the thought that this is exactly the normal time for this month of the year, but how can a person who went to the beach last month get used to it...?
I made sure to stop by the store where I bought the obligatory red wine, which I swear I wanted to open and drink right away, but I refrained. First I warmed up with a pot of tea and coffee, with which my mother welcomed me 🍵
Jessie and Bobby - Mom's cats were so sweetly sleeping in the warmth ♥️
The sunset I watch there at the end of the day, regardless of the season, is always beautiful 🥰
Thanks for reading 😊
