This is the continuation of the post from yesterday, and it looks like Mercedes was dominating in numbers. I wouldn't consider Mercedes to be really beautiful cars, but they WERE certainly reliable. In general, there is something different in the design of older cars; almost all look like they have some character. In the mix, there are also some American cars; the oldies are really a long way from their original home.

In the Mercedes brand, I've always thought the 80's Mercedes had the most character. The ones especially of today lack character, at least what we are seeing here in the US. They all tend to look like all the others. A young guy up the road from us inherited his grandfather's red 80's Mercedes convertible. Very, very nice!
Classic cars are always fun to look at, and if you're lucky, get a ride in!
Thanks for sharing @drlobes, and good job with your 5876 @actifit steps for the day! Take care!🤗
Well, if its a convertible, and on top of that its red as well = of course its very very very nice! :))
😎👍😁
I had a "Gray Market Import" BMW 733I......(someone personally shipped this car from Germany)!😄
I can tell you that every part on that vehicle was extremely over priced here in the states. I went through three starters at one time, and to change out a starter you have to remove part of the intake manifold....
What a pain to work on!!😬
I think most european cars are well known for this kind of madness, you have to take off many other parts until you can reach the part you want to exchange, Japanese cars are much easier to maintain.
Very true, we had Subaru’s and they were easy to work on!😊
One car years ago Liz and I pulled the motor and replaced it in an afternoon!🤗
Which Subaru model was it, a Forester maybe? 😁
We have had a few…..
My first Subaru was a 1979 Subaru Brat, it was a fun two seat mini pickup!😊
Then we had two GL two door sedan’s.
Then we bought a Subaru Justy😊
Many Subaru’s back then Lol!☺️
You're absolutely right about the 80's Mercedes! They had a unique charm that's hard to find in today's models. Classic cars always bring back a sense of nostalgia and personality. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I don't have anything else to add, you said it all! 😁
OMG ❤️🚙❤️ a BMW E30 ❤️🚙❤️ I had two in the past and loved them so much. It was very emotional as I finally had to let them go.

A little FIAT thats perfect for the City Life 🙂 and you?
Fiat 500 maybe? I drive a work van, a VW T5, it's a vehicle that helps produce money, not just consume them. :)) Plust the front seat its the perfect size to offer enough space and a good front view for this boy:
What a real cool boy ❤️
No its a Qubo those look a little bit strange but are fun to drive. Now it got rosty and makes troubles with the obligatory car check. Hm not sure what to do with it by now as I also dont drive much at the moment.

The cars truly look old but I'm sure they are still good
Driving this out is actually not bad
The first red car still looks kind of modern to me though
