Local fails that can make you feel like you're in the wild west or a third world country. Given is the town center, all the asphalt has been stripped away; it's been so long that I don't remember when. Plans to finish the job they started—I have no idea when. Wooden pallets block your path; manhole covers have decided to just give up and quit doing what they're supposed to, while "wild" chickens roam the street. The beauty of it all comes out mainly when it rains.

Just taking too long, that area was done already once, a few years back, but now they took it all apart to do some groundwork laying new pipes and such I think...
I guess that’s typical of contractors working for the city…🙄
