Potato Tuesday & Actifit November 25 2024

Potatoes are still a main staple in this country, like rice is to many Asian countries. Many years ago, when meat was scarce, eating potatoes sometimes even daily was common, but many people forget the benefits of eating them and only think about them as an unhealthy fast food option. But they are good for the human body; they contain lots of vitamins like vitamin C and B complex, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, which are essential for maintaining healthy bones; potassium, which is an essential mineral that helps maintain healthy blood pressure; and they're also rich in fiber, which can help with the digestive system, prevent constipation, and support healthy blood sugar levels. Go potatoes! :))) Ohh, there was also some fish involved there, but they came out looking a bit "fishy" so I skipped posting them.

Tasty! I think potatoes sometimes get a bad rap because some say they 'turn to sugar' when consumed. I think the benefits out weigh the risks! Go potatoes!

I am a big fan of potatoes, if it was up to me it would be part of my lunch meal every day

Thanks for joining the Wednesday walk
Have a great day
