New Year! - My Actifit Report Card: January 2 2025

Hey Actifiters!

Happy 2025 New Year, I hope everyone is having a great start to 2025!

Today was a mix of a rainy and cloudy day. Wasn't really sure if the weather would break enough for me to get out without being rained on. But, the rain did stop and I was able to use my lunch break to get a walk around the duck pond.

This new year has me thinking about habits I want to build for personal growth. I would like to improve my physical health, as well as my mental and spiritual health. I am not one for New Year's resolutions. However, I am thinking of trying to make some commitments this year. I want to be more physically active to lose weight and improve my overall physical health, and I want to read and pray more. As I've thought about that this week, I've realized a big piece of it is simply being disciplined to set aside time in my schedule for those things and being disciplined to stick with that commitment.

I don't think it's enough for me just to have a goal, I need to get specific about the habits that will help me reach that goal. I don't know what that looks like just yet. But, I intend to share more about the physical activity side of it on Actifit over the next year.

I'm glad I made it outside today, it was a beautiful cold day.
