I'm so busy stacking those steps and scoping for street art that sometimes I zoom past all the amazing tilework in the subway stations. This gorgeous piece features at the Bedford Ave stop on the L Train in Williamsburg, one of the hippest neighborhoods in Brooklyn.
I spent Friday pulled from all my 2 classes and working on grading the first district math assessment. The numbers from my class did not look good, but my guy in 5th grade stepped it up a bit. Suffice to say, not as many steps to go around sat in a group grading than up on my feet teacher and popping around the room.
Still managed 12K despite the slow day grading. It didn't help that we left for the Halloween party after 1am.
I don't drink, but this Halloween house would have had you covered. Bag of wine in the Jack-O-Lantern and several choices of seltzer stuff. It was great seeing all our friends in costume and outside the friendly confines of our frequent clubs.
Normally, I wouldn't talk about activities after midnight, but like a goof, I left my fitbit at home after my shower. Several hours of dancing and fun subway trip over Williamsburg evaporated into the ether (just like my activity from the winter). In fact, with the international timing, I think I slipped up on my quest for a monthly buzz badge for October the night after my hike.
Well anyways, next few days are gonna be big numbers with 3 big shows in 2 days, so for all of the exciting action, we'll see how Duce gets loose. Until next time...

It's always fun to eat out with friends on Halloween, it's sport without realising it 😀
