Month One Done -- Actifit Report Card: January 30 + 31, 2025

It is always fun to watch our school building get decorated for Black History Month in February. Things started to take shape on Thursday and Friday as we started to post all over our 4th floor. By the end of the week, I was pretty gassed, so much so that I crashed out Friday night without submitting my report. Bummer because I went for 12K steps...

But as I reflect back to the month of January, I think I only missed three days of actifit reports. I'm glad that I have been able to keep up with the consistency of my actifit journals on Hive. Now, I just need to keep up with the consistency of tracking my diet and ramping up my calisthenics routines.

Back to back 10K+ days to end the week. 16K on Friday was one of my most active days of the year so far. Again, most of the steps were zipping around the school and traversing the four floors of stairs to get up and down from our floor. At least I'm glad these actifit reports keep me incentivized to use the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator.

I did convince my partner to go out for a fun lil dinner adventure despite the winter weather. We went to our fave Japanese bakery Takahachi for some musubi and a tasty mungbean noodle salad. We got a creme brulee cheesecake and then walked over to The Cake Shop to get her favorite slice of 7-layer chocolate cake.

We finished our walk back home by swinging past the fruit stand to grab some golden kiwis, oranges, and blueberries. Great way to start the weekend with a full belly and fruit bowl! Time to get ready to hibernate. Until next time...
