On Wednesday after school, my partner and I made good on our rescheduled Lunar New Year celebration. We walked a few blocks and took a few busses to trek across Brooklyn to get to our friend's place for the feast.
We got there 35 minutes late and were still the first couple in the house. When we finally got all eight of us there, we huddled around the table and made a platter of dumplings. All different styles and folds, it was a lot of fun. The chili oil was top notch! Great company and learned some new Chinese traditions.
It's nice having things to go out to do on a school night and an even better excuse to run up my step count without any "extra" activity. Well over 10K is the way!
I've got two live shows coming up this weekend, so I hope to finally keep this 10K streak going past the school week. We'll see! Until next time...

It takes a long time to make the dumplings, but it's so good...
Happy Wood Snake Year (if I'm not mistaken).
