Kraftwerk 25 -- Actifit Report Card: March 13, 2025

in Actifit12 days ago

Thursday was one of those days that made me feel blessed to live in Brooklyn. After realizing that Kraftwerk was coming to Brooklyn for their 2025 tour on Wednesday, I reached out to their PR to cover the show for my EDM brand @moonlvnding. Luckily, they approved my request within 48 hours, and I was credentialed to cover the 50th anniversary of their breakthrough album 'Autobahn.' What a treat! I know it's Web2, but you can always check out my EDM coverage on MoonLvnding.com

The day started with a full school schedule, but thank goodness we were off on Friday for professional development. It's going to be a busy weekend! I watched the Chelsea conference league 2nd leg until 6pm then hustled home to depart for the Kraftwerk show 30 minutes later.

The theater was gorgeous inside with classic gilded decor along the ceiling and balconies. It definitely gave "sit in your seats and watch" vibes even though I wanted to get up and dance for most of the show. They played all their classics, including Machine Man, Radioactivity, Tour De France, and Trans-Europe Express. When they came back out for their 3-song encore, people finally got out of their seats to dance. It's only right for Techno Pop!

It's always amusing to me to look back at my hourly step count to see the highs and the lows of my day. Like at 8pm when I was obediently sitting in my theater seat waiting for the show to start. After the show I got some spare rip tips with fried rice before taking the subway home. Somehow the 25 minute car became an 80-minute trip by subway. Those pesky late night closures. Until next time...

Over 14k steps, very nice! BTW saw you vote and unvote my SPS validator today :) Would love to have your vote :)

Yes I'm still trying to get that all sorted. I want to be sure to support the validators in my Splinterlands guilds before supporting my Hive community. I should be able to get a vote back on you, but 10 is such a small number considering all the different validators I know and want to support!
