It's not everyday one gets a visit from their stinging friends and today was just one of those days or should I say last night.
This morning I woke up to a siege laid round my house by a swarm of ants or is it a colony of ants... Hahaha. There was no way out of my compound because thousands and thousands of these insects were everywhere and I just had to do something to disperse them before they could make their way into my home. I didn't have insecticide but um... I remembered that my Mom would first use salt to scare them away. It did work but not as effective because they were so much and I soon ran out of salt. I used up the kerosene and petrol from the garage, still they appeared to be undeterred. I prayed for the Sun to blaze hot enough to disperse them but it was behind the cloudy curtains almost all day.
My neighbour sensing my dilemma offered me help across the fence, they were experiencing the same. DD force was the chemical substance I used to evacuate them from my compound.
This took me to about Noon. Exhausted, I fixed myself a meal and slept off almost immediately. I didn't do much again afterwards. How was your day?
