I've heard that when you start with photography it's good to just experiment. Take a whole lot of photos and then see what worked. I still don't see myself as a photographer but I gave that concept a try and here are a couple of my favorite shots from last time.
There's been more rain so mostly I walked indoors again and did whatever I could without being outside. More of the same is forecasted for today.

That is actually a good idea. I never thought of that. I am a perfectionist type, so this is a good method if you tend to think things need to be perfect before acting.
I can relate, that's why I had to read about this in a book. I could not have come up with this on my own because my desire to get "the perfect shot" would have made me skip out on all the less than optimal opportunities that might actually have turned out great. But I'm learning to adopt a growth mindset bit by bit
