First on the agenda for the day was to head to church for Easter Sunday service. We were having service in the under construction sanctuary. In taking care of the many needs of the community after the flood in November, our church got a bit lost in the shuffle. We are looking at at least 4-6 months, maybe longer before we are back to normal. However, the surroundings didnโt matter as that wasnโt why we were all there. It was lovely to be together in corporate worship!
After church was over, I collected the headset mic, XLR cable and wireless mic bases to return them to their storage area. Then we headed home ๐ก
After a bite of lunch, we did a few tasks and then met Jan for an Easter hike.
It had turned into a pretty nice day. Moderate temperatures and sun with fluffy clouds floating by. Hereโs the view to the north looking into Canada.
As I mentioned yesterday, our youngest and his wife were at Longbeach, Washington for the razor clam festival. It looks like they found some!
Phoenix was seriously enjoying herself! Check out these next two shots.
For anyone wondering, she is a Dachshund-Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. She has muscles a dog shouldnโt have, lol and can run like the wind plus jump almost 6โ high! She is a sweet little girl!

Hi, Elizabeth! If I had a view like that, I could hike all day. I am not a sporty person, but I am nature obsessed! Plus Phoenix is such an adorable doggo. Give her a hug for me hehe.
We are very blessed to live here! We are approximately 25 miles from saltwater, and live in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. The best of both worlds! Phoenix is indeed, a cutie! We will be dog sitting come the fall when they go to Hungary to visit her parents. I suspect you will see a lot of her then in my posts. Take care and thanks for stopping by and commenting!๐๐ค
