Itโs Saturday, so itโs always an opportunity to try to catch up on sleep. ๐ด Wheras I didnโt get up as early as if I were going to work, neither did I really sleep ๐ in. ๐
First things first! We were about to have another coffee โ๏ธ crisis here, so I fired up the roasters and roasted 2 pounds for @silvertop and 3 for me. Mine is decaf and I drink 48 ounce cold coffees โ๏ธ at work, hence a greater consumption of it! Mission accomplished and crisis averted!โ๏ธ๐๐
Then, it was time to run through the music ๐ถ for tomorrowโs service. Once that was done, we packed up the equipment we need and put it all together to load up in the morning.
We had never reported the sale (gift) if the Ford Ranger, so before we could head to Bellingham, a trip was required to the DOL to accomplish this. Once that was done, we set out!
I am set up at home to be a coffee barista and was running low on some syrups and most importantly, mocha frappe mix! A local store that has been renamed, but I still refer to as Cash-N-Carry, is the place to get such items. I never seem to take pics when we go unfortunately. ๐ Once I had what we needed, we headed back up Guide Meridian (so named as it is truly a Meridian or line of longitude on the earth). We stopped at the Woods Coffee โ๏ธ shop drive through as we were in need of refreshments and I wasnโt at home to make them! Then we continued on up to the town of Lynden. Today was the last day of the NW Washington Fair, and @silvertop wanted to do some drive by pics. See his post for those! ๐ Of course, I have none as I was driving and itโs difficult to take photos while driving and making sure you ran no pedestrians down!
We stopped at the Dollar (and a quarter) Tree and picked up a few items and then headed for home. ๐ก
At 5 pm, we went up the road for a quickie hike๐ฅพ Jan came with. It wasnโt so brutally hot ๐ฅตbut the humidity more than made up for it!๐

Lovy and busy Saturday you had Sis. I love Saturdays for the long sleep too, but doesn't work that way most times. Hope you enjoyed your Sunday in church and the songs all went as rehearsed.

To a point. I grew up across the border in the Vancouver area. Before Covid, Iโd go over the border while on vacation to shop a bit. I havenโt been back there in about 5 years, however. Hope you had a good time.
How nice to have people who have this in common so close! Hope you get the chance to come back sometime. It was a shopping trip for us; I live in the foothills, actually about 5 miles from the boarder between Everson and Sumas.
