Today saw us headed to the bay. I needed to visit Dollar Tree and thought we’d stop there afterwards. The tide was kind of low, but we soon noticed it was on its way back in.
It was cloudy and cool-atypical for August for sure! Within the first 20 feet of getting out of the car, I found several photo ops for macro photography.
Here’s a shot out towards the bay.
There weren’t many people today-probably due to the weather, but I kind of like it that way. @actifit-lamb and Pepe Frog were along for the hike as well as newcomer Hammy. Hammy came to be when Hamster Kombat came out, so he was adopted into the clan. He’s never seen the ocean! Pepe was trying to get him to understand that ‘it’s de big pon, man!’
He also wasn’t too sure about Alfred the Seagull (the many of them) that were flying around. They kind of made him nervous. He wanted to get into my backpack and hunt for the nuts he brought along. However now that we’re home, he’s said he wants more adventures!

Alas, we had to go, but it was a nice day at the bay! After the Dollar Tree, we enjoyed an unusual hot coffee (who drinks super hot coffee in August-right?) at our favorite Starbucks. 😋
Tomorrow begins my workweek grind, but I’m thinking it might fly by.

Signs of Summer turning the corner?
Could be, @kerrislravenhill! At times, I look at trees and underbrush and think I might could see a hint of fall, but logically, it's just August, usually one the hottest times of the year! On the flip side, I've seen in the past during fair week, which is starting this Thursday and running until the end of the 17th, it turn rainy and the summer was over as the rains continued from that point forward.
It would seem kind of odd though, given the summer started out so cool and wet and then to have summer end the same way. Who knows, though-right? Thanks for stopping by sis! Take care!🤗💜🌻
