Another seriously rainy day here in the PNW! It had pretty much rained from noon onwards and is still raining at a good paced amount as I type! There’s been more rain in consecutive days than we’ve seen in the past, this year. There is no doing anything outside without getting drenched!
Unfortunately the weather has brought my hip and leg into a pain rating of on a scale of 1-10; a 12! Not good; it makes it hard to walk and almost unbearable to sit down. One I get into a sitting position, it’s okay; it’s just getting there that’s about to kill me! On the whole, it has not ever stopped hurting all these months, but it was bearable. This almost isn’t. 🤯
So I got my new……
It’s a 2024 M4 chip series-very nice.
Nothing much to do in this kind of rain (not that I could do much right now anyway) so we headed into town to get a coffee and my favorite apple croissant and @silvertop’s pumpkin loaf.
Then we headed to Lynden City Park. A home across the creek was decked out for Christmas.
Of course, as mentioned previously in other posts, it’s ’shroom season here! Enjoy the eye candy!

Sounds like inflammatory pain or arthritic pain Sis.
The wet weather isn't much better on the other side of the border. I guess why some people colloquially call these forests as the Great Bear Rain forest.
I'm suspecting arthritis as I have an old horseback riding injury that begins in my lower back/hips. It honestly feels like it's brittle and is going to break! Standing and sitting are okay, it's just getting into those positions that just about kills me. I've been dealing with this for over a year now, but this is the absolute worst it's EVER been. Eventually, it will drive me to a doctor; for now, I'm trying to deal with it.
