Together with a bunch of the people from work, I went on a day trip to Amsterdam. We went by bus and started with a boat trip on the Amstel river, the river that gave our capital its name. Enjoyed a nice lunch there and the views from the water. After an hour or so, we entered the city:
Quite a nice way to enter honestly. After going through some canals, the boat brought us to the Heineken experience. This was way too touristy for me, even more since I don't like beer.
Afterwards, we walked through the city, went to a cafe and then back to the bus.
On the way home, we stopped at a small fortified city for dinner. It was a nice day after all!
