Reflecting on December, there were several highlights that stood out. I achieved my intensity minute goal by staying consistent with my walks, which has been a big win for my physical health. I also managed to maintain focus and productivity during a busy week of finals, and I’m happy to report that I’ve consistently met my habit goals throughout this entire month.
Of course, there were challenges as well. To keep up with the workload and tasks, I had to sacrifice some sleep, which isn’t ideal for my long-term well-being. I’ve also noticed that some of my habits have become too comfortable, likely because they’ve been ingrained over time. This signals that it’s time to shake things up and set new challenges for myself. Additionally, I struggled with procrastination a few times, largely due to distractions from social media. I realize that I need to enforce stricter app restrictions to minimize these interruptions.
Looking ahead, I’m committed to making improvements. First, I’ll stay vigilant about holding myself accountable whenever I sense procrastination creeping in. Recognizing and addressing it early is key. Second, I need to prioritize sleep more effectively, aiming for a consistent eight hours each night to improve my overall functioning. Lastly, I plan to introduce new habits that align with my current goals and push me out of my comfort zone.
This journey has been a great learning experience, and I’m excited to take these insights into my next month.
