Great balls of glory, that was a killer day today. Got first flight off our new launch and flew in front of the rock faces I have drooled over for years. Watch the video, it was SO INSANELY COOL! Then flew Inklers before bolting for home. I am able to launch so much easier now and can't wait to fly again.

Good job on the reverse launch. That launch would be pretty sketchy if there was no wind. You might end up in a tree. I subbed to your youtube channel.
Yeah it was a pretty mellow breeze I took off in. The trees got cut down but they still need to be broken down and dispersed to clear the launch area better. I got to be the test dummy for the club, proof of concept flight.
Great video, while getting off of the ground it looked like you just cleared that downed tree. It wasn't too hard to tell that you were all pumped up.😁
I was just wondering if you have a particular location picked out for where you will land, or do you just put it down when you start to loose altitude.

Yeah I was the first to fly it and we still have cleanup to do of the logs and branches. I had the lz as my focus. I had done the mapping prior so I knew my glide slope would make it but had other options available if I didn't manage it. I'm not good enough yet to do cross country flights which is pretty much a land where you can type of thing.
