Today feels like a struggle because I’m still dealing with the flu, and it seems like it’s only getting worse. I already have a runny nose and body aches, especially in my legs. It also feels like I’m about to get a fever, which is really frustrating since it’s the last thing I want during this season. The weather has been very unpredictable, and that’s probably why I got sick. The rapid weather changes have made it difficult for my body to adapt, which led to me catching a cold.
I really want to take a sick leave tomorrow, but since it’s already Friday, I have a lot of tasks to finish. I don’t want to rest over the weekend only to find myself overwhelmed with work at the start of next week. That’s why I’d rather push through tomorrow, finish what I need to do, and then enjoy a proper rest over the weekend to prepare for a productive week ahead.
Even though I’m not feeling well, I’m happy to see that my Actifit activity score is 12,921 steps—well above my daily goal of 10,000 steps.
I’m proud that despite feeling unwell, I still managed to hit a good score on my activity report today.
