I have a part time schedule for 5 days in a row from last Saturday to the day after tomorrow. Yesterday was the second day.
Even though it's “five days in a row,” it's a very short shift, just two hours and fifteen minutes at night in a supermarket before closing. It is so much easier than when I was working full time. The university students who work the shift with me are all polite and smart girls, and the people my age are all nice and friendly.... A co-worker once told me, “If you get a part-time job here, you won't be able to work anywhere else,” and he was really right.
However, since I started this part time job, the number of days I am sleepy has increased.
I get home after 11:30pm, so from there I linger and play with my phone, open Hive and upvote, etc., and before I know it, it's 1:00 or 2:00am. Around spring, I decided “I will not bring my phone into the bedroom! I kept that rule for a while, but then I went back to my original habit. So, I have been chronically sleep deprived. At the same time, I have been lacking in exercise, so this morning I made up my mind to walk 5,000 steps in the morning!
The early morning rain had stopped and it was nice and cool. There were many large dead leaves on the road by the park. It was a sight that made me realize that autumn had arrived. I like the rain-soaked playground equipment because it has some kind of emotional appeal. I arrived at home when I was lightly sweating.
Maybe it's age, maybe it's the lifestyle changes since the pandemic... My husband and I have both gained a few pounds compared to a few years ago. Now that the weather is getting cooler and we are talking about starting to walk every morning, we'll see what happens... PeakD now has a Snaps feature, so I suggested to my husband that he should try a recording diet using Snaps. But he said, “Why should I engrave my weight on the Hive blockchain? Why don't you just do it yourself?” He dismissed the idea. Well, sure... I thought it was a good idea. Can someone else do it for me?😅
I was relaxing a bit after finishing my walk, washing dishes, doing laundry, etc., when I received a short message on my phone from the manager of the store where I work part time. It said that the person who was scheduled to work today's shift had suddenly become ill and there was a vacancy. My shift was scheduled to start at 9:00 p.m., but he asked if I could come in early. It suddenly became cooler and it is the season when people tend to get sick...so I said OK.
So, since I have to go to work earlier today, I think it's time to start preparing dinner.

土曜からパート5連勤、昨日はその2日目でした。
5連勤!といっても、夜、閉店前のスーパーで2時間15分だけという超短時間勤務で、フルタイムで働いていたころとは比べ物にならないくらい楽ちんです。一緒にシフトに入る大学生はしっかりした子たちばかりだし、同年代の人たちは皆親切で感じが良いし…。以前、同僚に「ここでバイトしちゃうと他で働けませんよ」と言われたことがあったのですが、本当にそう思います。ただこのパートを始めてから、やっぱり眠い日が増えました。
帰宅が11時半を過ぎるので、そこからダラダラとスマホをいじったり、Hiveを開いてUpvoteなどしていると、いつの間にか1時、2時になってしまいます。春頃、「スマホを寝室に持ち込まない!」と決めてからしばらくはそのルールを守っていたのですが、その後また元の習慣に戻ってしまったし・・・というわけで、慢性的に寝不足の日々が続いています。同時に運動不足でもあるので、今朝は意を決して、午前中のうちに5,000歩を歩き切りました!
早朝降っていた雨は止んでいて、ひんやりとしていて気持ち良かったです。公園わきの道路には、大きな枯葉がたくさん落ちていました。秋ですね。雨に濡れた遊具は何となく雰囲気があって好きだったりします。軽く汗をかいてきたころに、家につきました。
年齢のせいか、コロナ以降の生活習慣の変化のせいか… 私も夫も数年前と比べて数キロ太ってしまいました。涼しくなってきたし、毎朝のウォーキングを始めようかという話も出ているのですが、どうなることでしょう…。PeakDにSnapsの機能がついたので、Snapsを使ってレコーディングダイエットをしてはどうかと夫に提案してみました。でも、「なぜおれがHiveブロックチェーンに体重を刻まないといけないのか?自分でやればいいじゃん」とのことで、却下。まあ、確かに…。いい案だと思ったんだけどな。誰かやってくれないかな?😅
ウォーキングを終えて洗い物、洗濯物などをして少しゆっくりしていたところ、スマホにパート先の店長からショートメッセージが入っていました。今日のシフトに入る予定だった人が急な体調不良で欠員が出てしまったとのこと。私のシフトは21時からの予定でしたが、早出できないかとの打診でした。急に涼しくなったし、体調不良者も出やすい季節ですよね・・・ということで、OKしました。
というわけで今日は出勤が早まったため、そろそろ晩ごはんの支度を始めようと思います。

夜遅くなってしまうの難しいですよね。私も夏時間が終わる一昨日は一時間長いことにうきうきして深夜まで洋裁してしまいました 😅 読書の秋、編み物の秋冬、チョコレートはじめカロリー大爆発のおいしいお菓子・・・秋冬は危険がいっぱいです。。
体重といえば、ドイツに来てからのこの10年ちょっとで微妙に2-3キロ増えて、時々戻りつつ定着気味で、年末までに落とし切りたいなと思っています。もう体重なんて恥ずかしくもない歳なので、年末までに55キロ・・・Snapsでブロックチェーンでレコーディングダイエットしようかな??😁
10年で2-3キロしか増えていないなんてすごい・・・でもakipponnさんの食生活だったらそうだろうな、と納得です。私は買い食いが好きで・・・😅
運動や体重の記録、ブロックチェーンに記録するには良い情報だと思うんです!私も、「体重なんて恥ずかしくもないし…」と思ったのですが、、、私の体重はうーん・・・でも、そのうちやるかもしれません。
