This afternoon, my elder son went to juku (cram school), my husband went to a briefing session on procedures for junior high school entrance examinations, and by mid-afternoon, only my second son and I were home.
My second son loves computers, and if I leave him alone, he will spend endless hours on the computer. He has been in and out of typing lessons, Splinterlands, and most recently the Metaverse platform.
Although I think that I should let him do what he likes..., I am still worried about his eyesight. So I decided to go and register my second son's recently purchased bicycle for bicycle registration for security with him. My husband bought it online and assembled it, but it was still a little big for our son, so it had been left indoors. The Internet store had sent us a bill of sale, but they told us that we had to go to a bicycle dealer where we could get the bicycle registration done.
My son was itching to try riding his bike, but the bike is an adult folding bike, so it is still a little big even with the saddle at its lowest position. However, even if we bought him a bicycle for children, he might not be able to ride it soon with his height. I feel a little sorry for him, but he will have to wait a little longer🙇♀️
With the wind whistling and blowing, we walked to the bicycle shop. The bicycle was slightly perverted at the handlebars, probably due to a mistake in the assembly process. I was going to ask the bicycle shop what to do to fix it, but the store clerk was unfriendly and made it difficult to ask 😅I completed the registration (660 yen) and went home pushing the bicycle with the perverted handlebars. My second son picked up a big leaf on the side of the road and looked happy. It was cold, but it was a good walk.
Juku, swimming school, bicycles, glasses... Raising children is expensive, isn't it? We have two sons, and the second largest monthly expense, after rent, is child-related expenses.
I got home and checked my step count and it was 4,000 steps; I want to reach 5,000 steps if I'm going to post on Actifit, so I'll walk to my part-time job after this!

Hi @go-kyo, I enjoyed seeing your son entertained with a beautiful gold colored leaf. It tells me so many things.
Best regards.
Thank you. I didn't mention it in the text, but my son was playing with two leaves fighting with each other throughout the walk😅
Reading this brought a smile to my face. 😀
I wish you a great week.
