Healthy movements and the hurricane
Today was not the typical workout day. Today, I did a lot of organizing and cleaning due to the Hurricane Rafael.
Rafael impacted Cuba yesterday afternoon in the occidental part. Today there was a lot to do to go back to normal.
I woke up early in the morning to see how things were outside in my patio and surroundings. It was dirty, lots a leaves and broken branches. Also, no electricity.
I had some breakfast and decided to bike around town to see the damage from the hurricane. Fallen trees, electrical cables and poles on the ground, flooding etc.
After biking around and taking pictures I came back home to clean my house. This is where I got the most of my points on my @actifit tracker. There was a lot of movement, walking upstairs and downstairs…
Also gardened a little to keep my babies happy after this event… I put some of them inside and took them out when the weather was in better conditions. After I finished they were so beautiful that it seemed like no hurricane was blowing yesterday.
Besides the movement, I accomplished a lot today. I’m in bed already, kind of tired for everything I did.
Tomorrow will be a new one. Today, I’ll call it a day.
