My Actifit Report Card: August 5 2024

Es bueno reencontrarse con los panas. El parque vuelve a vestirse de vida esta semana. No sabemos por cuanto tiempo así que mejor disfrutarlo porque no sabemos cuanto tiempo dure así. Luego de ser el que llega más tarde, ahora soy el que llega más temprano para poder entrenar e irme lo más rápido posible del lugar. Por prevenir, por estar a salvo en nuestros hogares mientras toda la agitación pasa. Que no sabemos cuando pasará.

Al llegar lo primero que hice fue calentar. Siempre caliento antes de entrenar, no me lo salto, y procuro que todos lo hagan para prevenir accidentes. Eso me hace parecer el viejo gruñón del grupo, pero cuando ya has sufrido alguna lesión o molestia, empiezas a tomártelo más en serio.

Después de eso los chicos empezaron a llegar al parque, a hacer freestyle. Yo no practico ejercicios dinámicos. No me gusta la sensación, y solo siento admiración por los atletas que sí lo practican. Los chichos ponen música, el ambiente se pone a gusto. Es como estar en casa.

Luego de eso hice un circuito de fuerza que grabé en video y que luego tendré la oportunidad de compartir en Hive. Pero antes de eso me dispuse a tomar unas fotos del parque, a su imponencia y a su calma. El lugar está lleno de árboles que seguro ya estaban allí antes de que yo naciera, y creo que es algo a lo que no le prestamos mucha atención.

Luego el ambiente se oscureció un poco por las nubes, pero ya íbamos de salida, así que sin problemas pudimos llegar a casa, no sin antes comernos unos helados. Pero no tomé fotos de eso porque, ya todos deben saber que me gusta el helado.

It's good to meet up with friends again. The park is coming back to life this week. We don't know for how long, so we better enjoy it because we don't know how long it will last like this. After being the one who arrives the latest, now I'm the one who arrives the earliest so I can train and leave the place as soon as possible. To be safe, to be safe in our homes while all the turmoil passes. We don't know when it will happen.

When I arrived the first thing I did was to warm up. I always warm up before training, I don't skip it, and I try to get everyone to do it to prevent accidents. That makes me look like the grumpy old man of the group, but when you have already suffered some injury or discomfort, you start to take it more seriously.

After that the guys started coming to the park, freestyling. I don't do dynamic exercises. I don't like the feeling, and I have nothing but admiration for the athletes who do. The guys play music, the atmosphere is comfortable. It's like being at home.

After that I did a strength circuit that I videotaped and will later have the opportunity to share on Hive. But before that I set out to take some pictures of the park, its imposing and calm. The place is full of trees that I'm sure were there before I was born, and I think that's something we don't pay much attention to.

Then the atmosphere darkened a bit because of the clouds, but we were on our way out, so we were able to get home without any problems, but not before eating some ice cream. But I didn't take pictures of that because, by now everyone must know that I like ice cream.
