Walking Under a Cloudy Sky

Caracas is still a city with an extraordinary climate, where the heat is tolerable and the cold is tasty, although over the years climate change has taken its toll, but despite this it still has a perfect environment to go for a walk into the unknown, enjoying a 100% city atmosphere, where nature is very present and the pace of life is indomitable. For as long as I can remember I love gray days, those where the clouds cover the whole sky, the sun is almost not present and the drizzle becomes constant. For me this means a perfect day, which invites me to go out, walk, enjoy life and take pictures.

Caminando Bajo un Cielo Nublado

Caracas sigue siendo una ciudad con un clima extraordinario, en donde el calor es tolerable y el frío es sabroso, si bien con el pasar de los años el cambio climático ha hecho de las suyas, pero a pesar de esto Aún se cuenta con un ambiente perfecto para salir a caminar hacia lo desconocido, disfrutando de un ambiente 100% citadino, en donde la naturaleza está muy presente y el ritmo de la vida es indomable. Desde que tengo memoria amo los días grises, aquellos en donde las nubes cubren todo el cielo, el sol casi no se hace presente y la llovizna se vuelve constante. Para mí esto significa una jornada perfecta, la cual me invita a salir, a caminar, disfrutar de la vida y tomar fotografías.

This is how I took the opportunity to go out to walk some streets in the east of the city, spaces where we can find large commercial towers, wide sidewalks and that is very busy, I was really aimless, I was looking to walk a few kilometers, take some pictures and enjoy a moment with myself, where I could reflect on many things, plan new projects and live a moment full of calm and tranquility.

Es de esta forma como aprovechar la oportunidad de salir a recorrer algunas calles del este de la ciudad, espacios en donde podemos encontrar grandes torres comerciales, aceras anchas y que es muy concurridas, realmente iba sin rumbo fijo, buscaba caminar unos cuantos kilómetros, tomar algunas fotos y disfrutar de un momento conmigo mismo, en donde pudiera reflexionar sobre muchas cosas, planificar nuevos proyectos y vivir un momento lleno de calma y tranquilidad.

I walked for a couple of hours, in some moments the sun came out to illuminate everything, but soon after the clouds would be present again, enveloping the whole city in a cold and quiet atmosphere.

Caminé durante un par de horas, en algunos momentos salía el sol a iluminarlo todo, pero poco tiempo después las nubes volverían a decir presente, envolviendo a toda la ciudad en un ambiente frío y tranquilo.

To tell the truth I spent a fairly quiet time, where I could walk without any problem, enjoying the wonders of a modern, safe and welcoming city, which is gradually adapting to current needs and where fortunately walking is much easier, as we have sidewalks in good condition and in turn being a valley whose geography is quite rugged in my tour I found various levels of physical difficulty, which undoubtedly represent a great challenge and at the same time allow us to perform a much more complete exercise.

A decir verdad pasé un rato bastante tranquilo, en donde pude caminar sin ningún problema, disfrutando de las maravillas de una ciudad moderna, segura y acogedora, la cual poco a poco se va adaptando a las necesidades actuales y en donde afortunadamente caminar es mucho más fácil, ya que contamos con aceras en buen estado y a su vez al tratarse de un valle cuya geografía es bastante accidentada, en mi recorrido encontré diversos niveles de dificultad física, los cuales sin duda alguna representan un gran reto y al mismo tiempo nos permiten realizar un ejercicio mucho más completo.
