in one of the daywalker's weekend walks, we happened in a coffee shop with an interesting name.
kohi monogatari (珈琲物語)
the name literally translates to coffee story.
the shop has at least 10 tables and a long counter.
the coffee story they are sharing probably pertains to the extensive collection of coffee cups displayed.
the shop was actually located in kita senju, two atations away from our home.
but we walked going there, not the actual intention at first but it was a welcomed change.
we arrived at the shop after lunch and with nothing else to do, we proceeded to kita senju.
coffee is always welcome.
upon opening the door, some random pieces of things greet you including replicas of great art pieces.
the interior is quite homey, probably because of the soft lights.
one place had a collection of books on display as well.
and of course, the previously mentioned coffee cups collection is the main attraction of this shop.
it was hard to miss as it was displayed at the back of the baristas.
i suppose each cup had a story to tell over time.
i ordered a coffee and cake set.
the coffee of the day came from ethiopia, quite strong flavored with a kick.
the aroma was also very distinct.
this was paired with a melon cake.
i usually don't choose any with melon but i just don't have any other choice this time, it was the only cake left.
not really complaining but it was a bit sweet to my taste.
and the cup was of a different form than those in the next table.
they really had a huge collection indeed.
and it seemed like some were even handmade.
i wonder if the shop owners' themselves made some of those cups.
we also had to check the toilets to have a complete experience.
they were also on brand!
they did not even forget to decorate even that part.
it was a complete experience indeed.
it was a great experience in total.
coffee is always a pleasure and will always be one.
i fun time to slow down in this fast paced world.
hope you have drank your coffee for today.

I love coffee and think your coffee shop there would be a wonderful place to stop and have a coffee and conversation. There is something to be said about a nice cup of coffee and sitting with someone to drink it.
thanks. it was a great find. we passed by this place once before and swore to come back. glad we did
