now that the 2 day snowboard trip is over, naturally the body got tired. so what do you do to a tired body?

for my case, i relaxed with a bag of potato chips and a tall glass of alcoholic drink. it is just a cocktail, a mixture of shouchu and coke. just enough to get a little fun time.

at this point only my lower back or upper hips is bothering me. and some troublesome neck muscle is also needing attention. i could understand the lower back to upper hip muscle pain, but why the neck? was this because of that one rough fall on my snowboard? or was this because of the hours of sleeping in a sitting position while on the bus? muscle aches come and go, this should be gone in no time.

since there really was not much hurting muscles, i decided to go to the gym earlier that night. just for a short cardio, a very light one. i did not even sweat much, but it was enough to keep my legs moving. i checked my body thoroughly, no bruises. there were some sore areas on the ankles but those were from the tight boots. my body was well, fully recovered after yesterday's sleep.

at the gym, the show was kunoichi. it is japan's version of american ninja warrior but for ladies, i suppose. all participants were women, and i wouldn't dare compete with them in this strength course. upper body strength, muscle coordination and balance were tested. i'm quite sure i would fail right away even on the first obstacle. and one woman finished it all, climbing a dangling rope all the way to the top. bravo!

which leads me back to the very first thing i did, before even drafting my previous blog entry. i went to the groceries this monday afternoon. and did i even mention that today was a holiday in japan? yes, it was. and it was the sole reason why we chose to have the 2 day trip last weekend. we had today as rest day.

should this be even called an aftermath? i guess not. that a click baitey title.

as always, AMPING KANUNAY!
