preparations : January 24 2025

here i am with just some random updates. tomorrow will be the second snowboard trip for this season, watch out for that post. so as mentioned yesterday, i was planning to do less stressful activities for my cardio workout. i just cannot risk injuries or pains before the trip, that would greatly intensify the difficulty of the sport for me. it is such a dangerous sport in the first place, when you think of it just one wrong fall could be disastrous for a lifetime. but why o why do we enjoy this sport so much? that i also do not know.

to pass the time, i practiced "pro" mode photography on my phone. the subject was my plant, i actually felt sorry for my succulents, i know they need less caring and less water than normal plants, but they were left in the drought for a month. i am such a bad owner, this specific plant had a shriveled trunk when i finally took pity and watered them. this specific one also had the most dramatic change, in just a few hours the trunk has fully sucked up water and went back to this "fat" state. very satisfying! but do i really need to wait for it to shrivel before watering? such a bad plant owner. this one is a pachypodium rosulatum var. gracilius.

showers were prevalent in our area that night. it is another excuse or more like a sure sign to stay indoors. nightwalking is prohibited, mother nature already gave her final word. this only meant that it will be another treadmill time. this time though, i was busy looking at youtube videos of reactions to just some music stuff and even to a series i watched alone. watching reactions of other people to a series or drama or even a movie you watched alone could be fun. of course i watch the thing alone at first. and when i find it interesting and wanted to rewatch, that is when i watch a reaction video as if i had company watching the thing. am i weird? don't you do the same? for this series i have been following, i have watched at least 4 reaction videos of each episode weekly. is it too much? this has kept me entertained on the treadmill, which i intentionally lightened the load. i still sweat a little still, no ankle nor knee pains. very ready for tomorrow's brutal activity.

i'm back! i tried skiing back when i was physically unfit. i never got to improve, no one in my friend group was good at it exept for one. 😅

It’s amazing how the sport has changed over the years…😇
