I am back in town and now have internet available, I visited Towers hill in Charters Towers Queensland Australia, there is a lot of history here. A few old disbanded mine site's a couple of WW2 shelters, now used for tourist lookout,town water supply tanks,communication towers and earthquake measuring station.
