That's a pretty feather. I would not have known what kind it was if I had seen one though. We have quite a few hawks around here. There was a young one that hung out at the back fence off and on for a while. I live near a lot of wooded areas, so I'm sure the hunting is pretty fine here.
The way the light is hitting those clouds in the middle makes for an interesting pattern in the clouds.

I thought that cloud pattern was pretty interesting looking too. The sky around here can be very varied in appearance.
Thanks about the disc but after looking for it again today, I'm thinking it might be pretty badly lost. Sometimes they do come back to you months later though.
