Exploring Pakistani Street Food During A Photowalk in A City Area|| I am Alive And Thriving Challenge|| My Actifit Report Card: February 12 2025

Aslamoalekum and hello to my Actifit Community! Welcome to another blog. It was a sunny day here in Pakistan. I got up a bit late in the morning. I had my breakfast and departed to my workplace. After getting free from my official work I decided to walk in a crowded area. It was basically a lorri adda. There was a great rush of different kinds of vehicles in the Mianwali lorri adda.

Me and my friend Kaleemullah Khan started walking. It was a brisk walk. Usually, I prefer brisk walking over a normal walk because I think if don't sweat during the walk then it will be a useless activity. We should be sweating. Even in cold weather, the temperature of your body should rise up. There was a great rush of people at the bus stand. The passengers were coming and going to their destinations.

I saw a few vendors selling different kinds of items. First I saw a vendor who was selling our famous biryani. He decorated it with different kinds of salad. It looks like a very delicious biryani. We could not eat because we were in a hurry. We had to reach home.

After walking for a while we came across a vendor who was selling small pieces of sugarcane. The price of one kg of sugar cane pieces was 120 PKR.

Then we walked towards our famous Mianwali city Chowk which is called Jahaz Chowk. We call it Jahaz Chowk because an airplane ✈️ has been placed in this chowk and the meaning of airplane in Urdu is Jahaz. That's why it is called Jahaz Chowk. On the way, I saw a man selling tasty samosas and pakoras. He was busy preparing delicious samosas.
I took a few pictures of these stalls.

Then we came across the traditional street food of Pakistan. It is called jaggery sticks. These sticks reminded me of my childhood memories. I used to eat these sticks in my school days. The crunchy taste of these sticks was awesome. It is a famous street food in Asian countries. These sticks are very beneficial for our digestive system. Here you can see the pictures below.

We had to walk more to reach Jahaz Chowk. When O saw a vegetable vendor, I thanked God for providing me with such an easy livelihood.

Finally, we reached Jahaz Chowk and sat in a Hiace to travel home.

After reaching home I spend some quality time with my children. My son was waiting for me. He wore out a traditional Pathan cap and asked me to take a few picturesMashallahh he looks beautiful. He hugged me with love.

Then I decided to go to the fields of wheat. Green fields were providing comfort to my eyes. I walked alone for a while there and took a few clicks.

Walk has become my habit and I will try to continue this habit for a longer period of time. I am pretty happy that again I have completed my 6k steps of walking. I hope you will enjoy my today's actifit report. Thanks
