My city is burning. It makes my heart ache for the business owners who were already struggling, and of course for the people of color who have felt they are not safe just walking down the street. My daughter came home from her apartment in the city to get away from the violence, where last night people stride down the street yelling, including a man with a gun over his shoulder, and protestors were standing on her front lawn.
That said, we are safe out here in the suburbs, 10 miles away, and tonight we walked in our safe neighborhood. I took pictures of flowers and trees.

I am well @jayna. The world seems to have gone crazy with the riots now. Things are peaceful here and they are starting to open up slowly as long as there are no cases of the virus.

That is great to hear. I keep hearing that some things open up and then have to close again because people get infected. This happened with five restaurants in Minneapolis. Stay safe!

Oh wow; I am glad you are far away from the chaos and your daughter is safe too - that was scary. I saw the breaking and looting; what a sad state of affairs. Lets hope and pray it all settles down and justice is served for that brutal murder.
